Product Features

Compression rings are manufactured from either a highly ductile cast iron, or stainless steel alloy. The material of the rings is determined by the material of the cylinder wall the rings will be used with.
Oil rings (4-stroke applications only) consist of three separate components. Two scraper rails and a single expansion ring. The expansion ring in manufactured from stainless steel while the scraper rails are either a highly ductile cast iron or stainless steel alloy. The material is determined by its intended use.
Finally the rings are either chrome, nitride, or phosphate coated, depending on the intended application.
