Description
Fits FRONT DIFFERENTIAL ONLY
CRUY4UM-1 Yoke #1 (must use spacer provided) bolts to the front differential
87-97 YFM 350 Big Bear (excludes 97 YFM 350fwbj, fits only 97 special edition)93-98 YFM 400 Kodiak94-00 YFB 250 Timberwolf
This yoke is NOT exactly the same as the OEM yoke. This yoke was manufactured to fit the engine side shaft. We found it will fit and work on the differential end with the spacer provided.
Step #1.
Drive the spacer into the differential. This fits between the pinion shaft and the seal. Once the spacer is drove in, it will not come out without full disassembly of the differential.
Step #2
Slide the yoke on. This yoke does not have the o-ring groove machined into the outer edge of the spline area. Although this is not the ideal situation, place the O-ring on the yoke in between the pinion shaft, place the washer on, then the nut & Fasen it down tightly. This will smash the O-ring in between the pinion splines & the washer creating a seal. Please note, this is a one-time use. Once tightened, if you take it off again, the O-ring will need replaced.
